The United States Army's 75th Ranger regiment has been used in many War's such as The French and Indian War in 1756, In the Revolutionary War in 1775. In the War of 1812, Within World War II they were remade into a elite unit of fifty men that were selected from the 34th Infantry Division, Lead by Major William Orlando Darby. They were deployed in the Korean war in 1950 mainly scouting. They deployed in Vietnam. They were called into action for the War on terror in Afghanistan mainly to kill senior leaders and HVT's. They deployed into the Operation Iraqi Freedom to invade Iraq, they supported DEVGRU operators in raiding a chemical and biological weapons site. They attacked Al-Qaeda training camp's in North Pakistan. They have had many types of Units such as, The Regimental Military Intelligence Battalion, The Regimental Special Troops Battalion, The 1st Ranger Battalion, The 2nd Ranger Battalion and The 3rd Ranger Battalion. The United States Ranger Regiment is one of the prestigious but most used SOF within the United States Department of Defense.
